Mersin is located in Southern Turkey on the Mediterranean seacoast with Adana province in Çukurova region.

 

In early 19th century the city of Mersin went through a radical change when it became the main pier of Çukurova region and the busiest agricultural and industrial center of Anatolia. At the end of 19th century Mersin was a dynamic port city in the Mediterranean which was maintaining commercial ties with countries in every part of the world. Mersin was rapidly transformed into an industrial and a port city complemented by trade and service sectors.

 

Today, it is a multi-faceted and modern city with all its facts including its geographical location, mild Mediterranean climate, numerous plains, beaches, fertile soil, wide hinterland and a completed infrastructure of organized industrial zone, universities, technopark, free zone, international port, business development center with the support of qualified labor, and high living standards which an investor would take into consideration.
